Lunenburg Heritage House Tour Adds New Event for 2009
Please mark the weekend of Sep. 18 – 20, 2009 on your calendar now, so you don’t miss what will surely be one of Lunenburg’s premier heritage and social events as the LHS proudly presents its Tour for 2009.
To augment the program this year, we will open on Friday evening with a Soirée by the Sea at 700 Blue Rocks Road, known as Front Rum Point. This stunning house was featured in 2006 Canadian House & Home. The grounds, with a breathtaking view of the open Atlantic, also feature a heritage home original to the property, a carriage house museum and guest quarters. This special attraction will be available for viewing on Friday evening only , Sept. 18, 2009 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Ticket price for the Soirée by the Sea is $25 and features music, wine, and fabulous hors d'oeuvres courtesy of Fleur de Sel, Tin Fish and Trattoria della Nonna.
The Soirée by the Sea was fully SOLD OUT.
Thank you to everyone who bought tickets.
The Tour for 2009 offers seven select homes and a heritage business along with light refreshments at
St. John’s Parish Hall, costumed guides, musicians, and a Grand Prize Draw.
